My name is Rob Prohaska and I am a Certified Executive Coach, Certified Life Coach, and Professional Counselor. Beyond my credentials I am like every other person I know on this planet, an imperfect being. Believe me when I say I am perfectly fine with imperfection. I spent some time in the building trades, worked as an athletic coach at the high school, club, and collegiate levels. I’m a husband and a dad. I am a product of the southwest side of Chicago where you identified yourself through your affiliation with your local Catholic Parish, what municipal department your parent’s worked for, or what labor union with which your family was affiliated. I was taught to cheer for the White Sox in the summer and the Bears, Blackhawks, and Bulls in the fall. I prefer a really good thin crust style pizza over a deep dish. I was told to never put ketchup on a Chicago style hotdog, but if I’m being truthful, I do! Fortunately, I was raised in a city with great radio that shaped my passion for music. I value my roots, and if I am being honest, my roots certainly contributed to the direction life has taken me. After working for several years as a Professional Counselor, I decided to expand my reach and enlarge my footprint to become a welcome influence on those that have the ability to be influential to a wide variety of people.
My focus is bringing executive wellness on a personal level to each of my clients. I enjoy meeting and working with a variety of people from similar backgrounds, and learning from those who might come from a different background. I consider it an absolute privilege to have the opportunity to work alongside successful people in an effort to create a new or renewed sense of self for my clients. I thrive on engaging my clients with in-depth and open discussion and asking difficult questions. I, along with countless other professionals know well what it is like at times to lose yourself in your ambition. I recognize some individuals may experience occasional guilt that follows with moments of success as it relates to a middle class upbringing. Living through the experience of a middle class upbringing at times can create a paradox within successful people.
The aspect of my profession I value the most is the ability to connect with good, successful people, and work alongside each one to meet his or her personal objectives. I admire the willingness of my clients to disclose personal information and address his or her vulnerabilities with me. My intention is to work with each client to bring an element of simplicity to the complexity of his or her personal or professional obstacles. The process of simplification will bring a much needed sense of personal clarity and understanding for my clients.
If you think we may be a good fit for each other please do not hesitate to connect with me. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. I look forward to learning all about you!
Remember, worrying about your bottom line shouldn’t lead to rock bottom!
